What is MyFinancialFuture?

MyFinancialFuture is a free Australian lifetime financial projection tool. You build a plan, including income, expenses, property, super, ETFs and debt recycling, and see a month-by-month cash flow and net worth projection over any horizon you choose.

Seeing the numbers is usually the first step, not the last. When a decision needs personal advice, a licensed professional in that field can help, and the tool tells you which kind.

How it's funded

Every feature is free, with no paid plans, and we don't pass your details to anyone. In future we plan to offer an optional way to contact a licensed professional through a small panel of partner businesses. If we do, it will always be your choice, we will ask for your consent first, and we will update this page and our Privacy Policy before it starts. The guides may also carry display ads. The planner and your results never will.

What MyFinancialFuture is not

MyFinancialFuture is not a financial adviser and is not personal financial advice. The projections it produces are based entirely on your inputs and stated assumptions — they are illustrative models, not predictions of future performance. Before making any financial decision, consider seeking advice from a licensed financial adviser.

How the numbers are checked

The maths is tested automatically on every change, and the tax, super and stamp duty figures are re-checked against official sources. How we check the numbers explains what is tested, where the figures come from and what the checks cannot cover.

AI explanations

AI explains your results in plain English. MyFinancialOpportunities opens with an AI summary of your top opportunities, each card can be explained on request, and MyFinancialScenarios has an AI read-out of any scenario. The AI never does the calculations. It explains figures the tool has already worked out, and every dollar amount it writes is checked against them. It never names real financial products, super funds, brokers or tickers, and never uses advice language.

Only the figures each explanation needs are sent to the AI provider (Groq), never your names, the labels you type or your full plan.

Privacy by design

We do not require your real name, date of birth, address, Tax File Number, or bank account details — ever. Sign-in is by magic link (email → secure link). We do not store passwords. Accounts inactive for 30 days are automatically deleted. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
